Oslo Calling!
XTA @ Benum

Matts gets some useful AudioCore
advice on the second day of the fair.

We weren't the only company there - Benum cover many bases in
professional audio and broadcast.

One of those Madonna moments - Waring Hayes dons his "flesh"
coloured headset mic and gives an impromptu to the assembled masses
who had battled through the snow to be there.

Early in February, our Norwegian distributors Benum organised their
very own audio-expo at their premises in Oslo. The intention was
to showcase all the companies they represent in a better environment
than a standard exhibition hall, with the added bonus of copious
amounts of free food and drink!
Waring Hayes, resident xta design engineer and part-time raconteur,
flew over for the duration of the show (3 days) and was pleased
to report on his return that, despite the heavy snow that fell during
the second day, there was a great turn-out.
"The entire presentation was very professionally set-up and
it has to be said, the food was excellent!" Waring enthused.
|
"Snow kept visitors away on the final day, but nonetheless
it was good to see how Benum operate and everyone was very friendly
and welcoming." he continued.
Debuting at the fair was the DP548
and the latest version of AudioCore was running with a great demonstration
of the dynamic EQ that is included as one of the many new features
in the unit.
"It's great to see how people react to the visual aspect of
the dynamic EQ curves adapting in real time when viewed in AudioCore"
added Waring.
