Technical Support
and TechNotes
This section of the site contains a selection of technical
information and application notes offering suggestions about
the use of our units, and solutions to popular technical
support requests.
Got a problem that needs looking at (non-medical only please),
having an option fitted, or just sending back stock for
a service? All our units are guaranteed for 5 years and
we try to support everything we have ever manufactured.
Returning units is simple.
FROM WITHIN THE UK & EU:
IMPORTANT: Please include a filled out copy of the
UK/EU SERVICE REQUEST FORM - one for each unit returned.
FROM OUTSIDE THE EU:
Every consignment that enters the UK from outside of the
EU will need to be accompanied by a commercial invoice.
Please fill out a copy of the
NON-EU
SERVICE REQUEST FORM
- one for each unit returned. This form also contains a
commercial invoice template to fill in.
In addition to the above please make sure that you notify
us when you are sending a unit for repair from outside
the EU. We need to know the shipping method (courier name)
and the tracking number (if applicable) so we can pre-notify
the shipping company of the temporary import instructions.
Failure to adhere to the above instructions could result
in costs from customs/shipping companies being incurred
by xta, which may then be passed on to YOU, the customer,
and no-one wants that!
FOR ALL RETURNS...
Remember - even if you have been in contact about the return
beforehand, things will happen faster if all the info we
need is in the box!
Pack the unit in its original box if possible, and send
back to the address below, clearly marked for SERVICE.
XTA Electronics,
The Design House,
Vale Business Park,
Worcester Road,
Stourport on Severn,
Worcestershire,
England.
DY13 9BZ
You don't need a returns number.
If the unit is out of guarantee (warranty) we charge a fixed
cost of £75.00. This price excludes parts, return
shipping, VAT if applicable, and any relevant import duties
or taxes.
If the repair and parts charges (excl. shipping VAT/duties)
exceed £125.00 we will notify you FIRST.
YOU WILL NEED TO APPROVE THE COSTS IN THESE CASES BEFORE
ANY WORK WILL COMMENCE!
Terms
and conditions are available here.
Any questions, just contact Ian.
Thanks.
Note that manuals and datasheets are in .pdf Adobe Acrobat
format. Download the latest reader from their site by clicking
