Post Frankfurt breakdown…

…well it’s all over for another year.  The weeks of barely contained chaos leading up to the four days of meetings, discussions, sore feet, “It would be great if you could do this on the next one…”, “Why doesn’t it do this?” and “I didn’t even know it could do that!”.

The last one is the worrying one – as your author writes the manuals and does all the drawings (plus website, firmware, industrial design, sales, where’s my pay rise?), if someone says they didn’t even realise a piece of gear could do something then either it’s an RTFM moment (please enquire ;)) or there’s a feature that’s too complex to be intuitive.

We’ve always prided ourselves here at XTA towers that our gear is no nonsense, sounds the business and is easy to use, not laden with things engineers never use that only make your job more stressful than it already is.  Plug it in, set it up and relax in a smug feeling of knowing it sounds great and you can take credit for it.  Even though we did it 😉

Anyway, back to Frankfurt (well not literally, a week was enough).  Good to meet lots of new people, and a few highlights will appear here over the next few days…look out for the iPhone app and the bareback jungle action, to name but two.
